Curtis Wilson Half Moon Half Sun Round Coin Purse

Half Moon Half Sun designed by Kwakwaka’wakw Artist Curtis Wilson.

The Sun and the moon are believed to be beings who came to earth from the heavens and became the first ancestors to Kwakwaka’wakw Families.

The round coin purse is made from vegan leather, measuring 8.5 cm in diameter. There is an inner pocket and a secure gusset which keeps the coins from falling out. It can be zipped closed with a split ring puller. A label with the artist's signature is sewn inside the purse.
