Our display of products with their families or artist collections have been making great success in our tradeshow and the stores of our customers. The strategy is simply to arrange products in similar color or design family rather than product categories (i.e. mugs with mugs, totes with totes). This has proven to have a better advantage of attracting customers and showing them what other matching items are in the line. Tips to Displaying in Collections |

Vertical Visual LineIt is easier to visualize things vertically than horizontally, especially when it comes to visual merchandizing. If you have a wall, try to arrange products in the same collection in a vertical line. Figure A and B are examples of how you can arrange two collections in a vertical line. If you have a table or nesting tables, like C, arrange products so that the display can be read from the top to bottom, in a pyramid form.Use the right Fixtures and PropsUsing the right fixture means showing the product in the right eye level which allows the customers to envision the beauty and the functionality of the product. For example, showing the scarf on a bust will be much more attractive than showing it with a header inside the plastic packaging. A glass ornament hung on a simple ornament display will make it more elegant. When displaying on a table, use boxes or acryllic risers to create different heights. Acryllic boxes in different sizes are especially useful for holding products that don’t stand by itself, such as umbrellas, and as a base to heighten small products like mugs or ornaments to the viewer’s eye level.
